I didn't know Snape had books from the Unseen University Library ;). Nice touch, that. I don't picture his face quite the same as you do, especially the nose, but to each her own, right? He certainly does look himself otherwise. Love the facial expression. I can't wait to see this coloured!

I was reading one of the DW novels today onward, so I have to blame that on the whim of adding Octavo & co. in the background. Maybe some spontaneous fun for the one who notices. :D

I've had a fair few versions of him during the past years, and this one came as slightly different again, as I haven't drawn him in a while aside from one or two quick sketches. Looks like the nose is rather huge this time.

I'd probably make a crack about his pointy boots to him, but I think he'd kill me.

Day-yum, is he a hot greasy git. I like him MUCH better this way, not like bishi b0i Snape. Excellent job!!

I agree about the nose. That was the biggest part of the "not-what-I-imagined" for me, I think. Looks just slightly to large to be real. Maybe it's a side effect of one of Ron's potions mishaps?
