Wasn't sure where to put this, as it's a pic based on anime but not drawn in the corresponding style. Probably the only and single time I'm scratching anything akin to this, anyway.
'Tis one of the very few animes that has managed to catch my attention amid tens of more or less popular series I haven't liked even one morsel. And I'm not interested in drawing along the style either, since I find it extremely boring to work with. Hence this is my own rendering, like it or not.
Tried out a bunch of new techniques. The pic's supposed to be sketchy-looking, have only a few color tones and a non-realistic lighting. That doesn't mean it didn't take a damn long time to draw. Alucard is deliberately portrayed differently; he's sort of a mix of Vlad the Impaler and Gary Oldman's Dracula.
I've never seen the anime, but word is that it's quite good. I'll have to check it out sometime.
Anyways, I love when people take anime, and put it into "their style", since so much anime is really just the same. And the guy in the middle showing teeth... his eyes are awesome, in a frightening sort of way.

This looks rather different from my usual stuff, but glad to hear if it wasn't a total flop.
I was positively surprised about Integra in the show; she's probably the first strong female lead of her class I've seen in anime. And thank goodness not a squeaky-voiced Mary Sue. XD
I've watched both. I preferred it that way, since they both have features I liked or disliked over the other. Took a moment to get used to the style, though, as the animation made the characters on occasion really stretched-out and anatomically weird. I'm afraid Alucard carries the nickname 'orangutan' for forever now due to his overlong arms and red sleeves. XD Ook.
hmm interesting. However I am not fond of the alucard. probably because I'm completely in love with how he is in the anime.

I have a crush on Walter.
I could tell by the way you drew him. Walter's never looked so good.
Out of curiosity do you watch the old Helsing anime, or the new Hellsing utimate?
