Wasn't sure where to put this, as it's a pic based on anime but not drawn in the corresponding style. Probably the only and single time I'm scratching anything akin to this, anyway.
'Tis one of the very few animes that has managed to catch my attention amid tens of more or less popular series I haven't liked even one morsel. And I'm not interested in drawing along the style either, since I find it extremely boring to work with. Hence this is my own rendering, like it or not. Tried out a bunch of new techniques. The pic's supposed to be sketchy-looking, have only a few color tones and a non-realistic lighting. That doesn't mean it didn't take a damn long time to draw. Alucard is deliberately portrayed differently; he's sort of a mix of Vlad the Impaler and Gary Oldman's Dracula. |
