Hey there Zorm, I have a tip that can make this great work even better.
You have some great line work put down on the character and the background, but my eye's aren't focusing on the foreground as much as they should. What you can do is push the image using atmospheric perspective.
Make the foreground: Zurg, the rock formation, and the spot he's standing on the darkest of the entire image. The foreground also has the brightest highlights in contrast with it's dark shading.
Make the rocky terrain behind him and some of the lower buildings in the background (the buildings that reach the height of his waist)the middle ground. as you guessed, it will have half the darkness and detail contrast of the foreground.
The castle and sky is the background and has the lightest shading with even less details and contrast. You can make the middle ground and foreground blend into each other so it doesn't look like the changes are too sharp.
I know you're probably already familiar with the concept, but if you really push the concept it will add great depth to your work.
