Now you've definitely captured a much more serious, battle ready, side of Clockwork. I love the attention to detail in the anatomy and the designs in Clockwork himself. You have done this time spirit justice. :D

Yeah, he has his serious side, which I wanted to portray here. I had some fun designing him some additional patterns on the clothing. I guess the standard Hartman models of these characters are rather too plain for my taste. :D

You're welcome and yeah, the standard Hartman models are too plain. Its a pity that he doesn't put more detail into them.

Er...I apologize in advance for pointing this out, but Clockwork looks like he's swinging the Ginormous Lollipop of Dhoom. :\ Otherwise, I love this!

 It does look sorta lollipop-ish from afar, indeed. Never thought of that myself. XD

Maybe if the numerals were flowing out of the staff, instead of just being in a glob...?

Or maybe I'm just obsessed with sugar. SUGAR!!! =P

Wow!!! This came out wonderful! I love how he has really long and white hair, and how you did his staff is amazing! I just love all of the extra details you gave him too! That's one thing I just love about your art so much! :aww: This is absolutely amazing! Keep it up!

The standard model of Clockwork is a bit too plain for my taste, so no wonder my detail-obsessed mind wanted to add some extra designs. XD But it's fun also: let your creativity fly while thinking about what kind of patterns you could associate with the master of time.

Yeah, and you especially have wonderful creativity. I would of never come close to all of the details that you have, and it makes him look a lot more magestic and powerful  I especially love your style and how flexible you are with character designs ^^

I like this, even if Clockwork looks a lot sterner and angrier than he does in the show. I'm not sure I like his hair quite that long either, and I think his staff would be shedding a bit more light on things. Still, the amount of detail and the continuation of the themed blasts and backgrounds are incredible, as is the amount of wear you put into the fabric. :D

Dunno, I was about to submit this as a somewhat plainer version, but on the last minute got some spontaneous ideas for the staff's energy flow and background, and had to implement them. Looks like my crazy brain doesn't want to accept anything 'simple'. XD

I honestly think Clockwork has short hair, but each is to thier own opinion. I like it, and it's nice to see more art of Clockwork with a set of leggies rather then his tail.:)

Could very well be. But I'm always partial to long and thick hair. Maybe mine keeps it plaited down his back when the hood is on.

Exactly why I drew him with legs, because I was bored of the plain tail. :)

Ah could be. Maybe he keeps it in a ponytail? I'm just more into the idea that he has short, white hair. :3

I like pics of ghosts, that normally have tails, with legs. I bet Clockwork would have really awesome boots if he did have legs. I wonder what Desiree would look like with legs...

A ponytail might fit well. I doubt he'd go for mullets like Technus. XD

My mood, and the music I listen to on a particular occasion have a lot of influence on how my character designs come out. When I did the original lineart, I listened intently to some symphonic fantasy metal where the heroes are generally depicted with masses of long, often curly, hair and glowing magical swords. XD A different setting, and Clockwork might've ended up looking entirely unlike this.
I've seen variations of him with short hair. But as it is, everyone has their own preferences. :)

Heh, wouldn't mind seeing a legged Clockie in the show.

Yeah. Mullets are for those who can pull them off without looking freaky. (Like me.)

Music is an expression of ideas of the artist and the writer. A song tells a story and you can gather interesting ideas from the stories. So yeah, I would imagn it has a huge influence.

To each is thier own opinion. We'll have to wait and see an episode with Clockwork in it with his hood off to finally see his hair. He might have a rainbow fro for all we know.

I'd defently like to see that. >:)

I'd say Pariah would look rather different in this style. XD 'S probably the effect of the legs, but I wanted to draw ole Clockie with a pair of them for once.
