This is the place where you can personalize your profile!
But, how?
By moving, adding and personalizing widgets.
You can drag and and drop to rearrange.
You can edit widgets to customize them.
The left side has widgets you can add!
Some widgets you can only access when you get a subscription.
Some widgets have options that are only available when you get a subscription.
We've split the page into zones!
Certain widgets can only be added to certain zones.
"Why," you ask? Because we want profile pages to have freedom of customization, but also to have some consistency. This way, when anyone visits a deviant, they know they can always find the art in the top left, and personal info in the top right.
Don't forget, restraints can bring out the creativity in you!
Now go forth and astound us all with your devious profiles!
I just wanted to say that I really like your gallery. I also suggest that if you are sincerely serious about people comprehensively critiquing your art work, you should check out the conceptart.org forums. I apologize if you have heard about them before.
Thanks for the compliments. Actually, I have been to CA, and unfortunately found it a difficult place to get feedback. It seems that people don't readily comment your work, unless you're a noted artist or have spent quite a while there. I've also tried a few other places alike, with similar results.
This is why I'm attempting to ask for critique over here, as there's a small change of actually getting some from 550+ watchers. Gathering an audience of that size is a long process, and in my current RL situation it's almost impossible for me to find a lot of time to spend on other art sites and start the whole friending business all over again.
Yea, I suppose it's for the best. I've never posted on the site myself; however, I have read a fair share of critiques towards other people’s work. For the most part, a lot of the critiques they offer are along the lines of “draw more from life”, practice, practice, practice”, and the occasional “where is your light source?” It’s actually quite funny because they pride themselves for offering in-depth critiques, which are occasionally delivered. On another note, some of the forum tutorials are actually quite good.
After taking a brief look at your entire gallery, I’ve noticed that you have improved SIGNIFICANTLY throughout the years, which is always a good thing to see. I’d also like to ask, out of all the artists you admire, whose work do want to emulate the most?
Hi, I post this comment, just to say I like your artworks. I'm surprise to see there are still someone who draws males character in the old comics style of the 80s. I like a lot your picture of He-man and your Hellsing's picture.
Even if I'm an anime fan, I admit you're right on many points. Now they are few mangas and anime where the males characters have an acceptable figure, I mean not extremely thin or not necessary extremely muscular but when you see it you can clearly say it's a man and not you spend your time to ask if it's a man or a woman. The anime I can suggest to watch will be Basilisk. I admit there are bishonen characters but they are more variety in their design. I regret the times of Hokuto no Ken.
I regret this kind of artworks is very rare, only in game I see that video games, for example God of War, Diablo III with the Barbarian, World of Warcraft: the Vrykull are based on the vikings , the night elves look less bishies than the blood elves but the blood elves proves they have their place among the Horde and not because they are pretty. I'm greatest for Capcom to keep the Street Fighters IV in the spirit of the old school game.
Keep doing what you do it was pure random if I find the page on DA. I don't regret it
